High School: Jess played for Whippany Park High School and was selected All-Conference, County, Area, and State team multiple times. Played middle infield for both Morris County Champion teams in 2006, 2007.

College: In college, Jess played for CCM and NJCU. At CCM, Jess was captain of the 2010 team earning a career high .545 OBP. She also earned the honors of Distinguished Academic All-American and Female Academic-Athletic Award. At NJCU, Jess earned NJAC All-Academic Team honors and the Athletic Department University Achiever Award.

Coaching: Past coaching experience includes CCM, Jersey Girls, Chester Middle School, and Morris Catholic High School.
